Village homes, farms and pole barns
Kingsley is a small village with M-113 running through as Main Street, surrounded by farmland and woods in Paradise Township. In town the houses are a mix of older homes, some with detached garages, and newer builds on the edges. Out on the country roads toward Mayfield and the Boardman River, pole barns and outbuildings are a regular sight.
Farm and outbuilding doors are a different job from a house door. They are often wider and taller, they see equipment traffic, and they can take a hit from a tractor or trailer. We repair and replace pole barn and oversize doors, and we can quote an insulated door for a shop you plan to heat.
This is inland country, away from the milder air along the bay, so winter runs cold and snow can pile deep. Wind across open fields packs drifts against doors, and meltwater under a worn bottom seal freezes the door to the slab. A new bottom seal is a simple fix that saves an opener a lot of strain.
