In Benzie County, our crew repairs springs, openers and weather seals, and installs new garage doors and screens for homes from Frankfort and Beulah to Lake Ann. The county wraps around Crystal Lake and fronts Lake Michigan, so its doors take real weather. B&B Garage Doors and More works out of an office on Blue Star Drive south of Traverse City.
Benzie County runs from the Lake Michigan shore at Frankfort and Point Betsie inland past Crystal Lake to Lake Ann and Thompsonville. Along the shore and around Crystal Lake, cottages and summer homes sit closed for much of the year, and their garage doors need a careful check before each season.
Inland, around Honor, Benzonia and Lake Ann, homes sit on bigger wooded lots with pole barns and detached shops. Lake-effect snow and wind across open ground drift against those doors all winter, so tight seals and a well-balanced door count for a lot.
