Are you open on weekends?
No. We are closed Saturday and Sunday. Our crew and office work Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
Do you give free estimates?
Yes. Estimates are free. Our crew looks at the door or the opening, explains your options and gives you a clear quote before any work begins.

Repairs
Who fixes garage doors in Traverse City?
B&B Garage Doors and More repairs garage doors across Traverse City and the surrounding area. Our office sits south of town off US-31 near Chums Corner. Call the office and we will get a technician out to you.
What kinds of garage door repairs do you handle?
We repair panels and sections, tracks, cables, rollers and hinges, springs, openers and weather seals. We also fix doors that have come off the track and doors that were hit by a car.
Will my repair be finished on the first visit?
Most repairs are finished on the first visit. Every truck rolls out stocked with the parts we use most. If a job needs a part we do not carry, we will tell you and explain the next step.
Is it safe to work on my own garage door?
Some upkeep is safe, like cleaning the photo-eye sensors, lubricating hinges and rollers and checking the weatherstripping. Springs and cables are under dangerous tension, so never adjust or replace them yourself. If something looks broken, stop using the door and call the office.
Springs and openers
What should I do if I hear a loud bang in my garage?
A loud bang often means a garage door spring has broken. Do not try to open the door with the opener or lift it by hand, since the door can be very heavy without the spring. Call the office and we will replace the spring.
Which garage door opener brands do you install?
We install LiftMaster and Linear openers. We also repair openers, including sensor problems, worn drives and openers that run without moving the door.
Should I repair my old opener or replace it?
It depends on the opener's age, what failed and whether parts are still practical to replace. Our technician will explain both options on the visit and quote them free, so you can decide.
New doors
What garage door brands do you install?
We install doors from Haas Door, Safe-Way Door, Richards-Wilcox, Asta America and Eden Coast, along with LiftMaster and Linear openers. We install residential, commercial and industrial doors.
Can I see a new garage door on my house before I buy it?
Yes. Haas Door offers Haas Create, a free online design tool where you put a door on a photo of your own house. It is an easy way to compare styles and colors before you decide.
How much does a new garage door cost?
The price depends on the size of the opening, the door material and insulation, windows and design options, and whether a new opener is part of the job. Every opening is different, so we measure it and quote it free.
Do you install garage screens and pole barn doors?
Yes. We install Lifestyle Screens garage screens, which let you leave the garage door up and keep bugs out. We also install pole barn and oversize doors.
Commercial doors
Do you work on commercial and industrial doors?
Yes. We install and repair commercial and industrial overhead doors, rolling steel doors and fire doors. Call the office to set up a repair or a free estimate for your building.
Are your owners certified for fire doors and rolling steel doors?
Yes. Tony and Jake Bailey are both fire door certified and both rolling steel certified. NFPA 80 requires fire door assemblies to be inspected and tested at least annually by a qualified person, with written records.
